Market day is on a Wednesday

Had to get a photo of a dude selling garlic. Lots of people from nearby towns come to the market in St Remy it's really popular. We stopped at a number of clothing stalls - do I need to say more!

I liked the peddle cars

They took my eye when passing. There was quite a display inside of photos of Citroen 2CV cars - quite a cult following in France - come to think of it Lily and Owen Young may have owned one. I don't think Sarah was as keen looking through the photos as me.The shops here have amazing displays. St Remy has a population of about 10000. Vincent Van Gogh was a notable that spent some time here as well as the birthplace of Nostradamus.

In France but went for Italian

Sarah had pasta with truffle shavings and I went for the mushroom risotto. Loving the warm evening. There's a big market day here in the morning and Sarah is keen as mustard.

Relaxing after our drive

Trying our wine we bought in the Medoc region where we did our winery tour. Well and truly hit the spot. Thanks Corinne and Jo for these glasses ( we brought them from home cause we don't like drinking from plastic! )

Getting closer to St Remy

We can tell we're getting closer to the Mediterranean cause it's hit 32. Stopped for an ice cream along the way. Staying tonight in St Remy de Provence and overnight low of 21.
